Home Visits

If you are too ill to attend the surgery and need a home visit, please telephone 481321 before 11am whenever possible. The Receptionist will ask a few questions about your illness so that she can pass the information on to the duty doctor, so that he/she can give urgent problems priority.  Please try if possible to come to the surgery as at least four people can be seen in the time it takes to do one home visit.

Registering with the Practice

To register with the Practice, bring your medical card to the surgery, complete a registration form which may be obtained at the reception desk or download the form online. Please remember to bring some form of photo identification with you and proof of residence.

Every patient is now allocated a named GP. This may be different from the GP you usually see. This does not change the way you book appointments. It means that one GP will have overall responsibility for your care at the surgery.

For continuity of care we encourage patients to try and book appointments with their usual GP. On some occasions this may not be possible so please be assured that all the other doctors that are available on that day will be able to help you with your problem.

If you feel that you have not been allocated the appropriate named GP, please speak to the Reception Team.

We have automatic doors for ease of access, but if you need assistance, please ask for help.
