Virtual Patient Reference Group (vPRG)

We want your opinion!

We are looking to establish a virtual Patient Reference Group (vPRG). The purpose of this group is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided, and over time, commissioned by the practice. We plan to ask for and discuss views from the group. This includes patients being involved in decisions that lead to changes to the services the practice provides or commissions, either directly or in its capacity as gatekeeper to other services. We will also seek views from practice patients through the use of a local practice survey. The outcomes of the engagement and the views of patients will be published on this website.

The group will be used to encourage dialogue electronically with our patients and you will be asked, from time to time, to complete an online questionnaire. This would be no more than twice a year.

We plan for the vPRG to be representative of all age groups, ethnic backgrounds and social groups.
